 Born in Nuoro in 1974. Lives and works in Orani (Nuoro) and Bologna.
A visual artist and a performer, he is interested in various languages, including photography, video, drawing, works on paper and public activities, frequently seeking to achieve integration between different genres. His studies attempt to inter-relate a plurality of concepts such as reality and pretence, historical memory and contemporary life, figure and image, conflict and integration, the material and the immaterial. In 2006 he produced Le petit, a series of eleven photographs and a video centred on an obsessively recurring image: the portrait of a young woman in a wedding dress. In other works, this photo – always the same one – takes the shape of a dress or a mask, whereas in this particular context it is transformed into a house, becoming a recurrent element and multiplying itself through the landscape, almost as if pointing to a way. He is currently working on a project entitled Cutter, with the intention of producing a series of artist's books, a performance and a video. Through the use of this tool, the artist removes from the images everything that is under extinction or already extinct, including natural habitats, glaciers, seabeds, panoramas, animals, customs, marks and traditions, giving careful thought to the conceptual aspect as well as the idea of a new aesthetic vision between the pages
